Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums.
If you have waste oil, that is the way to go. We bought a Harold Electric Co. "papa burn". I'll admit, it looks a little redneck, but that thing will get the shop WARM. We CANNOT use up all our oil each year, we still give oil away. But it does require a smoke pipe to the outside. Our shop is 50x60 without insulation and we can get it to the high 50s on a cold day. I bet it would run you out of your shop. Only bad thing is it doesn't auto start/stop. Even if I had some other form of heat, I would still consider this for supplemental savings. Here's a link.
