I understood there was a lot of fine print from Caterpillar when they sold the MT to Agco. I've heard that the design and some Cat engineers went to Agco to continue development like nothing changed. Cat might have received some shares of Agco as part of the transaction. The MT is sold through a Cat dealer mostly I think. More influence by Cat than Agco in my opinion.
