when this cold weather hit and the corn started freezeing in the field the moisture tester on the combine was showing 19%, but the next day I took a sample in and after the corn unthawed it tested over 24%. Elevator guys said they have been seeing that a lot once the corn was froze in the field you can't trust any moisture tester until you warm the corn up.
Wet corn. What have I done?
