Got the same cunundrum. I'm thinking soil finisher in February, if dry enough, then back again at planting. Or, rent a GP turbo-till and run it in February. Just afraid of opening up our ground then not sealing back and losing moisture. We have all kinds of moisture holding capacity here in CIL but, about the time I chisel it will turn off drought dry. BTDT!
