Nebfarmer, for corn, about 80% of the time the spring price is $2.50 or higher, the fall price has been lower.
Since 1994, the CRC price for corn was higher in the fall 4 out of 13 times, and in 97 by only 4 cents (the higher years were 96, 97, 02 & 06). Soybeans since 1994 were higher in the fall 4 times too, in 95, 96, 02 and 03. (if my notes are correct)
