Martinsville, Ohio | The big thing is Jack it will never hurt your ground. It should be neutral pH and the Sulfur should flush off Mag off your cation which are usually clays.
In the east we notise more water infiltration, improved sulfur to N ratios, more tillable, workable soil, etc.
It's no miracle drug like anything else but soil does respond to it, particularly in notill, most especially in difficult notill soil like we have in Ohio.
I would spread more if I had good affordable access to it but the wallboard manufacturers eat up the supply in the east with lots of money farmers don't have.
That's the way I see it, if you can spread it enexpensively I know I would do it.
