Kindersley Sk. | By the way you asked the question I think you already know that excess salt (in your case sodium salts) is usually a water problem. And solving the "water problem" is the only thing that will solve the sodium problem. I would try to determine why the sodium is at the surface in the first place. Poor drainage or saline seep. Then deal with that first.
