Martinsville, Ohio | That is what I have been thinking Cliff. The Gleaner has almost 12,000 acres and if you just used 100 bu an acre for corn, soybean, wheat, barley rotation you are at 1.2 million bushels. That is a lot of grain. It has had few repairs but somewhere down the road it will take a bunch.
I hear farmers talking about good combine techs all the time and often swing a deal that direction, then the guy dies, retires or moves on.
The smart dealers keep their good techs happy and they don't move around much but anyone gets burned out.
The fires in the Deere concern me, they must be 2;1 everyone else but supporters say that is because they outsell everyone 2:1.
It's a real hard decision. Some of my White and Gleaner buddies went Deere long ago and on their second or third machine so they must be happy.
