Iowa | I took some out today. This was my only experience with the hybrid. The yeild was ok, but it did not go through the combine easy. It was goose necked to the point where I could not row it most of the time. Very few leaves had been dropped, but most seemed to get stripped off with the ear and the top half of the stalk and run through the combine. All the material would plug the auger on the corn head. The ears were small, so I could not open the stripper plates much more. It was also wet compared to other hybrids of the same or later maturity. Overall, it was not a joy to combine. It would need to beat other hybrids by about ten bushels per acre to be worth the extra trouble, perhaps more considering the moisture. I'm glad I did not have too many acres of this one.
