Yup - I noticed years ago, the lines are short at one elevator esp early in the go - everyone fills their own bins first. Then it looks like things are wrapping up, down to the last 3rd of harvest, & suddenly the lines are out to the street, 2 wide. Everyone is hauling to town.

If you can work the opposite of that, you get through the lines a lot better.

Coop meeting last nite, they said they were dumping 5 different crops on 2 dump pits. Wet beans, dry beans, wet corn, dry corn, and 18% corn. We don't hardly ever have wet beans 'here'. and it's rare to have the 3 grades of corn. Made for a lot of waiting for the pits & legs to empty & switch to a different bin.

And he explained the 18% corn you can't run through the drier with the 29% corn at the same time, doesn't work well, so has to be handled seperate. They found out.
