western NY | Sharecropper,Do you you run in the dry and cool mode? I don't use the time method,I use the moisture control and set for final grain temperature and then cool. My old Super B gave you a dry grain temperature and then cool and also different drying temperature for all grains. When i bought this dryer I was told buy the dealer that I would be able to set what final grain moisture I wanted and then just run it. I guess it is that way running continuous mode, but not batch, kind of a pain when doing different moisture grain the same day and adding to 2000 bu wet bin. I had to dry some soybeans this year and had to guess at beginning settings until I ran a few batches. I would thick that it wouldn't be to hard of a job for GSI to come out with some decent charts or a better moisture controller. Maybe not many guys run in the batch mode. I do because I have one grain leg that is used for unloading trucks and unloading dryer to storage bins. | |
