| I have all the parts now and as soon as it stops raining I'll put mount the motor and vfd. It's going to be much better than the ratchet system and so far I'm out ($160 vfd, $50 motor, $90 60:1 gearbox, $50 chain and sprockets - $350 total). I'll post pics when I can. Probably the toughest part was removing the old drive gears - they are too large to slide off and I wasn't going to disassemble the shaft from the rolls, so they got cut off.
Btw, the auger chain came apart on the last load and I'm thinking that I'll eventually put a separate motor on that as well and let the fan motor drive the fan.
