Subject: RE: Parker Cart

Northeast Nebraska
We looked at a few Parkers and found the axles to be too small for our liking.. We'd heard of them breaking frequently and I even asked on here last spring about one we were looking at. (It was a light green one too - I forget the # but was close to a 575-ish?) Anyway, both axles had been fixed on the one we were looking at and we just didn't feel like it would be a good idea to buy it with the bad axle history they had. (the new ones were 3inch dia.) Our thoughts were if we're trying to harvest, we didn't want to have to fix an axle with a full load on board and mess with all of that, so we went onto other carts. We already had a Demco 650 that has at least 4 inch axles and then came across an A&L 705 that had at least 4 inch axles with two way stiffners attached making them VERY rigid and tough. It was a major selling point for us and we try very hard to NOT be rough on equipment!! Look at the axle design as well as how the bin is mounted, etc. Our A&L is older (1997 model?) than the Demco (early to mid 2000's?) and even the Demco had a few cracked welds when we bought it. The A&L does not and never has had any! We like em both!
