SE Nebraska, Near Misery and Cans Ass! | After years of trying to prove the benefit of pop up starter ferlilizer unsucessfully my Kansas neighbor finally did it. He is getting a new planter this spring and had his doubts about starter so he removed it fron half of his 12 row last spring and used it that way for his entire farm, 1200 acres of test plot with 6 varieties and the positive benefits were very evident on his yield maps. 7 to 22 bushel difference. He will be putting it on his new planter. I don't know why it was so difficult to see in side by sides. |
