West Michigan | "here" no they are not worth the money. Many traited ones get out yielded by the refuge corn. Problem is most all companies take the best hybrids and only offer them with traits. It is a way for them to get more money out of a bag of seed.
For now we have refuge corn which atleast just has RR. Once these companies get refuge in the bag(which they are all working on) we are in big trouble. My opinion is that companies will not let you buy anything but traited corn with 5% refuge in the bag. That way 95% of the seed they sell will have a billion traits and cost a small fortune. This is not going to be good for us. | |
