Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums.
I agree that if it gets wet and dry many cycles, it happens worse. We are getting a few splits due to a lot of rain. I custom picked some for another guy last year when his normal custom guy wouldn't show up. They should have been picked a month earlier. I slowed the cylinder all the way down and opened the concave very wide, they still split. The elevator said that was the most splits ever delivered. They didn't dock him much. I gues they were going to be crushed really soon.
