Until we see more shifting of supplies to regions that are willing to pay more, the regions with adequate supplies don't have any reason to tighten their basis bids. Thats what normally happens across the corn belt in the winter. Its still interesting to watch all those trucks moving corn to the ethanol plants during whats normally a pretty slow time of the year. Supplies are being used up day by day.
