If rootworm pressure is that bad you would be better off investing in a SmartBox system and using a quality granular.


Liquids simply don't perform at all vs moderate to high rootworm pressure. You can check any/all University performance ratings over the past 5-6 years of so.


I had two neighbors put SmartBox systems on this year and both did quite a few S x S's with very positive results with essentially zero rootworm pressure. I'm guessing they had some secondary pest pressure that the Cru 250 on the seed didn't handle. I'm searching for the logic but we'll probaly put a system on the planter for next spring. I know some believe we are having some nematode issues that a quality OP handles, I just don't think this is correct.
