Subject: Re: corn after corn

Saronville NE
My longest COC farm is 9-10 yrs now and had been ridgetill, till the last 2 yrs, and we have disked it up. Just pick a variety with good disease resistence, and good for COC your dealer can help you with that, and fertilize accordingly, and it will work good. I have a neighbor that is all COC and they have one farm that has been COC for over 50 yrs now, and they raise good corn. They call beans a noxious weed, they hate them and havent planted any beans since sometime in the early 80s last I heard anyways. Theres gettin to be more and more COC guys in our area, even thoguh this is the first year in our area that beans have competed good for once.
