Might overseed a little, best seed, best seed treatment, plant a little slower, get off the tractor and look.

Stick the soil probe in the soil slowly in those fields and feel the compaction compared to fence rows or tilled ground. Might want to FC again after this years rains anc compaction but that tap root should do the job.
