Flax straw will tell you when it's ready to be combined,
and when it's not ready to be combined.

Jim

Jim, I can agree with that up to a point. But today I worked in the same field as a 7010 CIH combine. He rolled along all afternoon without a problem cutting 35 feet. I went about half an hour before the rock trap beater wrapped up tight with flax straw and that was the total output of my 1660 for the day.
