Rivers, MB
For the acres we have, we can store all of a slightly above average crop. It has been a work in progress (numerous years of renting bins, filling a shed and barn, and a pile on the ground) but we're finally there. About 80% of it has aeration and its almost all on the main yard. It give us the option of harvesting tough crop when the weather is good. We're also not at the mercy of elevator hours and "harvest basis" levels and how full the elevators are. Yes, we have some storage risk but the other benefits far outweigh those risks.
