Subject: RE: Grain Carts

Grand Rapids, MI
We bought a Kinze 1040 at the farm I used to manage back just before I left, I think probably 1998. Last I knew they were still using and very pleased with it. I think they put a new liner in the auger, but I don't think they have done any other major repairs. I am sure it has seen well over 2 million bushels of grain by now.

In wet corn my experience is that a 2 auger cart will unload quicker than a single auger cart. The Kinze does have some flatter spots over the dual tires that can be problematic when corn gets over 30% (This is a 1040 Row Crop)

I have many clients that have the Brent Avalanche series and are also very happy with them.
