Central Saskatchewan Canada | The combine has been gone through. There was $4000 is parts and 4000 in labour spent on it this fall. The rasp bars concave and a few other things. Not much for $8000. Guess the parts are expensive. The nearest dealer is 60 miles away and a large warehouse that they claim has every part you will need is 120 miles away. We only farm 2000 acres and will expand in the near future but this combine seems to have enough capacity for us. The only thing is that we would have to trade back to a cat dealer for any reasonable price. I talked to the local jd dealership and they just laughed when I asked what I would get on a trade in if I ever delt there. There is getting to be more and more cats around the area and the people I have talked to say they love them. The salesman just left and I think he thought he was going to get a cheque tonight but I told him I wasn't going to pay more than 75 for It. See what happens on Monday. |
