Maybe you needed a 657 Deere. A lot of people compare Deere's mid weight disc to others heavy weight disc, not a fair comparison IMO. We've run 637 Deere's and 1434 Sunflowers and can't tell much difference in the job they do. Any disc has to be set to cut level, and any disc out there can ridge if it isn't set right.
