Thunder Bay, Ontario | I have a Gleaner G that is the parts donor for my F2 Hydro that I currently run. There is lots of things that will not fit, but when parts are 3 days away..... There are quite a few things that are the same, guards, sections, some belts & bearings as well as some of the "slip clutch" units that Gleaner used back then. Our "little" F2 is just fine for the 100-150 acres of small grains that we grow each year. Pretty decent production and I can always make adjustments to get a clean sample....And I can look out the side window and see what is going on in the returns elevator. No comparison to our local BTO that runs a NH TX 68, he does in an afternoon what takes me at least two full days. Of course, one of his tires cost more than my entire machine.
I know one other fellow that was using a G last year, and another fellow that still runs a CII w/ no cab. | |
