I write a list down at the end of the season of what needs repaired or attention before next harvest. Then I take the chaffer and sieve out and fire up the ingersol rand 185 compressor and blow all the dirt out of it. That takes about 2 hours to get it CLEAN. Then I wash the outside of and call it good. When it's clean, you can inspect it pretty good to see if you miss anything too.
