northeast SD | Tried my first wet corn and having a heck of a time getting it set. Corn is a bit either side of 30 percent yet. Running a 8 row 30 head. Cylinder at 440 and concave at 28. precleaner is 4 turns open, top sieve about 5/8", bottom sieve wide open. fan at 1100. can't seem to run faster than 3.5 mph in 180- 200 bu corn. What am I doing wrong? Seem to throw over the sieve if I push it any faster. Ended up with the cylinder where it is at to keep from going out the chopper. Any advice is greatly appreciated. | |
