Subject: Continous flow dryer burner temp

Wood Lake, MN
What is the best temp to set dryer in a continous flow, to get the best test weight, and a balance between propane savings and electricity.? I've been playing with burner temps 220- a few burnt kernals uses alot of propane but moves through the dryer pretty fast. Had it at 180 for awhile. No burnt kernals maybe gained a 1 lb of test weight. saved alittle propane but used alot more electricity. Cut the dryer capacity by 30 - 40% So with running at 180 I might of saved some on propane but I definately used alot more electricty. This is with 25% corn. Corn looked better at burner temp with 180 but I thought I would of gained more test weight.

So in the end what is the most efficient burner temp setting?
