Subject: Magnum PTO

We had an little accident and snapped the pto shaft off on our 7250. The broken stub is still in the tractor, but the splined part broke off.

How does it come apart to replace the shaft? Can it be repaired without draining out all the transmission oil? Is it an easy fix, or do we have to send it in to the shop for major surgery?

Also, the tractor has an annoying hydraulic buzz...like something is vibrating, but only at low and mid RPMs. It's worse when the hydraulics are in use...like when running a motor or raising the 3pt. I can't figure out what's resonating. Any ideas?

Thanks!
