North Dakota | We use a bearing puller/splitter and a 20 ton portapower. They come off hard but not all that bad with a hyd puller. Did have one that I had to cut the ring manifold off. TO install just put into a toaster oven and heat to 400* for about 30 min and slide it on fast the first time, you can use a pipe that fits over the shaft if it doesn't go all the way the first time. NO one will argue about the price of the gskt kit, terrible high for a half dozen gaskets and a few seals, but it does have all the seal rings for the pistons and shafts. Make sure to check the endplay on all the shafts. | |
