Funny, around "here", folks think it's OK to burn anywhere and anytime. Which is OK, by me, I've got a lot to burn myself. You can get permission to burn here without any trouble, as long as you have a tractor with loader or blade near the fire. I keep my Rotovator on one tractor for this purpose. I usually get some extra work rototilling lot and tree lines during fire season.
