Tilley, Alberta | A number of years ago we had just finished harrowing in Alfalfa seed on a field.I was on an open station 4020 when I saw something out of the corner of my eye coming out of the air right toward me. It was a glider that lost its updraft and had to ditch right in my nicely harrowed field. Scared the hell out of me because my first reaction was a big BIG bird, then perhaps a plane crashing right on top of me. Turns out the guy was an arrogant little rich boy who was full of attitude was mad because he lost his current and couldn't continue his journey. Because of his arrogance and his attitude toward me I made him disassemble his plane and walk it out of my field piece be piece. He was madder than heck at me as he couldn't understand why I made him do that as opposed to letting him on "the stupid ol' field that was just full of dirt" with his chase vehicles and trailer. City kids....things that make you go "hmmmmmm". | |
