Have a JD 550 baler that has never want to pick up the windrow properly. It is a string tie model where the string arm comes across the front of the of the pickup. Keeps wanting to reject the short hay. I have noticed the new JD balers have a roller which runs along the top of the windrow directly infront of the pick up. Could this help? What do you think?
