Ontario
Yes, canuckdeere you are correct these pictures were taken on Oct. 19th. Rained slightly on the 21rst.

But I snuck out at 3:00 am on Oct 22nd, and planted another 100 ac of wheat. (Conditions were better at 3:00 am than 3:00 pm, as the rain started as we were finishing! Not often that happens!!)

Would have posted these sooner, just had to figure out how to do it!

Its wet here now too, guys are at the corn. Going to start corn if the "big rain" misses.

Also comment on soybean yeilds, they were disappointing for us... we will be lucky to avereage 40 bu/ac! Just not a great soybean year in Ontario, generally. There are some great yields in some areas, but not consistent. A lot of disappointments. Last year we averaged 52 bu/ac.

Coffee shop here in our area of southwestern ontario: Corn yields decent, but some down grading due to test weights.
