SW WI | What I have now.... HMC silo for livestock, a couple of CMC air dry bins. Yeah, I know, good luck with the air dry bins this year. I think I need some back up drying for years like this. I have run these air dry bins for 10 yrs and have had an (oh, crap) moment a few years. Have been able to salvage some less than ideal corn by feeding to livestock. I know it will add some expense but the chance of losing a bin of corn just gets old. What would you recomend to compliment what I have now? The silo can stand on its own, air dry capacity is about 35k in two bins. I would be looking to build another 20k bin in the future, I think I need some drying system first. Please give me some ideas to work with. | |
