Subject: Question on ethanol subsidy...check my math

Croswell, Michigan
Was at a couple of marketing seminars last week. First guy said the .51/gal subsidy was here to stay. The second guy said it could be pulled at anytime. If a bushel of corn produces 2.7 gallons of ethanol x .51gal. = $1.38/bu subsidy does it not? I am not trying to make any point here, it just looks to me like the loss of that subsidy would cost the corn grower a bunch.
