NW Iowa. / SW Arizona | My wife wants me to make a request on here for some help in finding some lye. She enjoys making her own shampoo & hand soap but is having difficulty finding where to find some. The store where she used to get it said that they can no longer get it because it is considered an ingredient for meth. She has tried a number of stores in Sioux City Iowa but no one carries it. I keep telling her to forget it & just buy factory made soaps but she thinks home made is better for your skin.
