Subject: Re: Mud in the fields=Mud on the roads

NW Minnesota
Our rouds have been muddy and slimy starting Oct 1st. Some gravel roads are impassable unless your in 4x. Mud on road signs are up and boxscrapers/road graders have been scraping roads but it rains every other day. No different than ice or snow up here, drivers need to pay attention. Beet harvest has been going on for a month, along with bean harvest, things are muddy and going to be muddy until the ground freezes.  I guarantee if you had a $1500/acre or so of beets in the field and quotas to fill you would be running.
