Subject: RE: tracking grain in and out

Rivers, MB
I am using a spreadsheet. Different tabs for expected production, actual production (once off), quality specs from various elevators for the various bins and then numerous tabs/sheets for each grain and the contracts that are sold and the status of each. Keep a notebook keeping bin inventories and a big board in the office a bin map. Have a scale on the yard so each load in is weighed and recorded so easy to go back if bin inventory book is lost. Each scale ticket has bin # recorded on it for easy figuring of current inventory.
