Subject: One funny site, Pa

Lapel, In
Late spring back in the 60s, the weeds were already tall in the creek bottom. Ole mister chuck was standing tall on his hind quarters, reaching up and chowing down on a nice tender weed. Here I come with the 5 bottom behind the 4020. We were smokin down that furrow. Ole mister chuck was oblivious to my presence. Just kept on chompin on that weed. Must have been some good weed. LOL. Plowed him under just right. Looked back only to see dirt being thrown about 8 feet in the air. He was commin OUT ! Still one of the funniest things I ever saw on the farm.

I did see a woodchuck climb a pear tree once.So they will ,on occasion , "mess"with wood. Never saw one chuck wood though, but they sure know how to chuck dirt.lol.
