Murfreesboro, Tennessee | Glad you finished. We like you did not cut a dry load until the last 50 acres. Planned on putting in all in the bins, but do not even have fans on some of the bins so we took it to town and sold every bit off the combine. We simply did not have any other choice.
I still have 650 beans to cut. First of October, yields were good with no damage. Cut a load yesterday (Monday) and it was 48% damage. Trying to find something to do with this load. May try to blend them with an acceptable load cut yesterday.
Cotton looks terrible. Hard lock and boll rot.
I scouted the crops Aug 31 and thought I had the best crop ever, now I am wondering if all this is worth it. May get out while the getting is good. Funny how things can change so quickly. | |
