Subject: sunflower shrinkage question

Rivers, MB
Hauled one load of sunflowers to buyer w/ a drier. Field ended up being a little tougher than initial test.
Unload weight after dockage was 64 634 lb. After shrinkage 54132 lb. So we lost 10502 lb of water (shrinkage).
Wet moisture was 20.6%. dry is 10%. How can shrinkage % = 16.2% (10502/64634) when moisture content decrease is 10.6%. I thought the shrinkage ratio was close to 1:1? Am new to drying so I'm all ears. I'm glad the buyer took the load. We would have been in a bit of a pickle had they not. Helps to have a good relationship with the buyers! I'm sure those relationships will get tested from what I hear of bean and corn harvest this year.
Thanks for the help in advance.
