Subject: Re: EZ Steer vs Autopilot

If Autopilot is out of the Questions .. Check your Installation. i have seen EZ- Steers out-Perform Autopilots in some cases with the proper installation and calibration. we run all our antenna's as far forward as possible on the cab so that it acts more like a steering angle sencor.. Make sure your Controller is mounted Securely and a Strong Power Connection. If you adjust your Agressiveness too much your EZ Steer will Shutter on the wheel. Depending on the tractor will depend on the Durability of the steering Console. Try to adjust your motor Speed a little. Optimal Agressiveness is 100 % i usually calibrate at 100% and ajust my Angle Per Turn get it really really close then set my Agressiveness after that. i have found that a lower angel per turn with a 100 - 110 Agressiveness works really well.
