edgerton ks. | The variety is KS 5004n. They are a nematode resistant early group five. That pushes the maturity for us a little as most guy's plant early or mid group four's here. Mine were planted on June 1. I personally like to plant a full season bean as we don't plant any wheat so there is no hurry to get beans off early. These beans got very tall this summer for such a late planting date, an appear to me to have a very heavy pod set. | |
