Subject: RE: low temp burner on air bin?

Vincennes, IN
I've been told to not run more than 10 degrees over ambient air temp without stirrators and no more than 20% moisture. If you can put it in under 20% and leave it there for a month or so I'd say you'd get by with the low temp/no stir. If its going in the bin at a higher moisture and/or you want to haul it back out soon, I'd go with a bigger burner and stirators. One thing to consider, even with the low temp burner, I think the bottom will still be overdried. That overdrying alone may pay for the stirators in a few bin fulls.
