Western Alfalfa & Forage Conference, December 2-4, 2009

Grand Sierra Resort and Casino in Reno, Nevada

The pre-registration deadline for the Western Alfalfa Conference is rapidly approaching. If you register on line (http://alfalfa.ucdavis.edu/+symposium/2009/) or by mail prior to November 2nd, you can save $25 on advance registration or $50 compared to on-site registration fees. The program offers a wealth of information to help growers and industry professionals interested in “Improving Your Odds of Profitability”.

Don’t forget the pre-conference Hands-on Alfalfa Diagnostic Workshop. This is the first time we have offered this educational activity and it promises to be extremely valuable to advisors, consultants and growers interested in alfalfa pest management or fertilization. We are limiting the number of participants in this workshop activity, so register early!

Hotel registration links can be found on the Alfalfa Workgroup website (http://alfalfa.ucdavis.edu/+symposium/2009/). The Grand Sierra Resort and Casino is offering a great rate of only $44 per night with lots of extras. To receive the special rates, be sure to mention the Western Alfalfa Conference if you contact the hotel directly to make your reservations (1-800-648-5080). These rates are only guaranteed through November 18th.

We have over 60 exhibitors signed up for the conference and hundreds have registered already. We hope you will join us for this exciting event.

Don’t hesitate to contact me if you cannot locate the information you need on the website or in the brochure that was mailed last week.
