West Central Iowa | Started corn today. Corn is making 250 bpa. Best I've ever seen by a long ways. Testing about 25%. The day was a rather tough kind of day but not misting. Average speed with the 2188 and 8 row 30 inch corn head 2mph. I adjusted stripper plates to allow more trash to get through to the point of shelling more than I like. Is this about what to expect for the 2188. I was running 1700 bushels per hour. All help appreciated. | |
