Subject: Re: Aerating flax in bin

Were taking flax now from 13 down to 12.1 to dry. were putting it in air bins till its dried. What a year!. Flax is going through and cutting awesome but we got a lot of days drying with a 350bu bacth drier.
In past years weve taken flax as tough as 12 with bins at 11.5 and they need air. They will never dry down on air this time of year. turning the fans off for a couple weeks is not an option at 12+ becasue the second they start to warm up they get very sticky and hard to wrk with (then heat). Would be cheaper to dry them then keep air on them till June.
Hold on to your flax everyone, don't sell or give in to elevators for minimal drying charges cause their stealing it.We'll out wait this market... I hope... Like everything else.
