WCIN | I lived over there for years---Edwardsville. Mom and friends are still there.
I drove over there twice this spring. My corn was knee high and there corn was nearing waist high. Now---the whole trip across I- 70 was ankle high corn.
Soil differences!!!!!!! My buddy said they planted that with a Case Quad-Trac and was slinging mud.
That stuff looked so uniform at waist tall----I have seen these fields forever. Never seen them look so good at tassel.
Point is: North of E-ville on 159, that is some awesome corn, best I have ever seen those fields-even as hell
